Changes are an inseparable part of “Biegi w Szczawnicy”. Since 2013, we have increased the number of courses from two to six, we have added runs for children and teenagers, we changed the start and finish places twice, but also went through two different names and three different logos of the event. Sometimes these changes are necessary, sometimes they allow us to develop, and sometimes to establish ourselves in the reality that surrounds us.
Already in 2019, we were thinking about a much larger change, but the pandemic and subsequent events turned the world of events upside down, so we put this idea on the shelf for a while. However, for a short time. This time we are moving forward – we decided to change the name of the event and refresh our logo a bit.
Where did this change come from?
This is the next stage in the development of the event both in Poland and abroad. And although we also run in the Beskid Sądecki and Gorce, we meet every year in the heart of the Pieniny Mountains and our hearts are also in Pieniny. What will happen next? Time will tell. 
So, on April 21-23, 2023, we invite you to participate in Pieniny Ultra-Trail®.
As usual in April, as usual in Szczawnica, and as usual offering beautiful courses, wonderful atmosphere, unique views and an adventure that has been going on for 10 years.
We will publish the details of the event in the coming days and weeks, and the registration will start on November 14, 2022.
