Another warm, sunny day is behind us.

On the southern slopes, where more sun reaches, there is no snow, neither in the forest nor in the higher parts. Snow appears from the north in poorly sunny places above 900 m above sea level.

 

 

 

 

 

Conditions on the routes (15.04)

The conditions on the trails show a full spectrum of possibilities: from almost summer in sunny places, through typically spring – muddy in forests and shaded places up to about 900 m above sea level, to winter in the highest parts of the mountains. In the highest parts there is still old snow, but the conditions are changing very dynamically because it is warm (a dozen or so degrees during the day and a few during the night) and it has been raining regularly in recent days. It will be warm in the coming days, and rain is forecast, so the amount of snow will continue to decrease.
