Since the first edition of the race, the Rak’n’Roll Foundation has been with us. The foundation is changing the way we think about cancer and working to improve the quality of life for those affected by the disease.

From the 2023 edition, during the registration for the race, you can decide whether you want to receive a commemorative medal or a medal tree at the finish line.
What you can do as part of the campaign:
– Take the medal tree home. Plant it in a place of your choice and let it forever remind you of your extraordinary adventure in the Pieniny Mountains.
– Plant your tree in the mountains. Give it to us. Together with representatives of the Krościenko Forest District, we will take the trees and plant them in the mountains.

Every year we implement Pieniny Ultra-Trail® with increasing ecological awareness.
Since 2023, we have been implementing and testing new solutions that will allow us to more effectively protect not only our wonderful mountains, but above all the natural environment of the planet of which we are a part.
We want the event we organize to be a great place to meet, compete and achieve personal goals, but we also want it to happen with genuine respect for the natural environment in which we have the honor to live.
We know that maintaining balance while creating a great sports event is possible. This is only the beginning of our journey, but we are ready to follow it.
Taking into account the comfort of participants, residents of Szczawnica and nearby towns, as well as the benefits for the environment resulting from this solution, we are launching 3 special Pieniny Ultra-Trail® bus lines for the duration of the race, which will run:
– on Friday – a local line around Szczawnica
– on Saturday – a line around Szczawnica and a line to Krościenko and Jaworki.
We want to make it easier for you to get to the race office and the starting line, and after the race also to the accommodations or parking lots where you left your cars, without traffic jams and the stress associated with looking for parking spaces.
